About Us

Coaches Melissa and Molly met while training for the Boston Marathon. Week after week, they braved the cold, snowy streets on routes stretching from Boston to Newton and back. During these long, challenging runs, they discovered the importance of external motivation, and the RunTrue training program was born.

With multiple marathons, half marathons, and shorter road races behind them, Melissa and Molly are here to help you complete your goal, whether it's finishing your first 10K, taking on a half marathon, or simply getting in shape. We'll customize a program tailored to your fitness level, schedule, and personal goal, be by your side during one-on-one and small group runs, join you for the race, and even give you a wake-up call for morning workouts. We'll be there to motivate you from the first step to the last - and each one along the way.

Bio: Coach Melissa

Coach Melissa has always found joy and purpose by being involved in sports. While her athletic identity
Melissa is an Art Therapist and Mental Health Counselor who believes that through running, we are fostering a  strong connection between mental and physical health. Marathons are her passion and, through rigorous race training, she has received personal life lessons on confidence, commitment, self-awareness, inspiration and compassion.

stems from years of playing softball, she found long distance running to fulfill all aspects she values in her life.
For Melissa, running has always been more than just getting a daily dose of exercise; it's about having the simple motivation to tie up the laces of her running shoes and break through the mental barriers of those long distances in New England's extreme weather conditions. She knows that, some days, running wouldn't be possible if it weren't for the dear friends in her running community and their support on early, weekend mornings and the shared experience of taking it all stride by stride.

Bio: Coach Molly

Coach Molly is a lifelong athlete who, after finishing her college lacrosse career, found herself taking a break

from working out. To get out of her rut, she signed up for the Seacoast Half Marathon, caught the running bug, and hasn't stopped since.
Completing two marathons, three half marathons, and multiple 10K and 5K races in four years, she knows that running isn't always easy, but it's always rewarding.

She believes that running gives you an incredible strength that is more than muscles and endurance. It's something that grows within you with every step, something that builds up as you charge on, something that flows into many other aspects of life. And, Molly knows that building that strength is a mix of personal willpower and external motivation. ​
